It was a beautiful First Friday with so much going on it was hard to cover everything! After careful consideration of each of our photos, we’ve narrowed it down to 5 photos each. We each picked our favorite 5 for you all to look at and choose your favorite photographer based on all 5 photos!  Shooter A and Shooter B is how they are named. Shooter A’s photos 1-5 are posted first followed by 1-5 of Shooter B’s. Look over each group and let us know which photographer you like best! Leave your choice below in the comment area! If you have a favorite photo you can let us know that too if you’d like … but remember it’s a PHOTOGRAPHER shoot-out not a photo shoot-out ! Since we both are looking forward to getting out and about town during April First Friday and shooting photos we decided to have a little ‘shoot-out’ between the two of us. You see, I love TAKING photos and Jeremy loves MAKING photos. We’re going to see who comes out on top with the most creative, feel-good photos that show what Canton’s First Fridays are really all about .. don’t get me wrong… there won’t be a loser … it’s a win win situation..we’re each out doing what we like, seeing things from different perspectives and angles .. it will be fun and interesting! On Saturday we will post our images here on the blog and you guys get to choose which ones you like best. Don’t worry, you won’t even know which ones are which(well maybe). We will be labeled Shooter A and Shooter B and you just say whether you like A’s photos or B’s photos best. The winning photo will be printed and hung in the studio and the winning photographer gets an all expenses paid ……. friday night out … restaurant of their choice – unless it’s me and then I get a new Epiphanie Camera bag http://www.epiphaniebags.com/  Anyway – we’ll see you all Friday night and the weather will make it a lovely time to be downtown and therefore making it a lovely time for picture taking!

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government, more than $12 million in 2009 alone! We have enjoyed taking part in this event for 2 years now and look forward to our 3rd year. We have photographed hundreds of kids, men and women shaving their heads towards conquering kids cancer – their fundraising efforts raise so much – over $120,000.00 in the past!  Many participants donate to the silent auction. Raffles go on throughout the day.

Mark your calendar for Sunday March 14th to stop out at Quaker Steak and Lube between 1-4pm.  10% of all food sales during those hours is donated as well!  ALSO,  We are auctioning off a 2011 wedding!!

Changing the world doesn’t have to be lofty or un-attainable!   An event like this does a world of good!! We hope to see you there and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get yourself a wedding photographer for 2011 

The holiday of love is almost upon us. Although I have never considered myself a huge fan of Valentine’s Day it’s hard to bash any day that promotes eating endless chocolates, reading love poems and hearing I love you’s from your honey  …. or even dressing up your cute little man like the one and only Cupid.

As we close out 2009 and begin 2010, we do so with open hearts, open minds and an eager willing to learn and grow! 2010 will be a year of goals … Realistic and Ambitious goals. It will  be a year of facing fears and extreme growth. I can already see it. I believe it. I know it! We look forward to surrounding ourselves with people who inspire us and push us to be greater, bigger and better.

December 2009 Cindee and I opened A Studio Photography LLC. We can’t believe that this is all happening! The dominos just started falling and everything came together just right. Now the hard work of running A Studio starts and we can’t wait to see what 2010 will bring us.
